e-mail Deacon Joe The purpose of this preparation class is to help parents take an active part in their child’s baptism. They are reminded of the essential role they have in the faith life of the child. During this session, the details of the ceremony itself are discussed. There is an explanation of what baptism is in the context of the Church and an opportunity to discuss any problems or anxieties the parents may have. There is time set aside to complete the official form required for baptism.
