Interested in volunteering? Have you considered the CORE TEAM?
The CORE TEAM is a community of adults who choose to respond to their baptismal call by serving young people. St. Francis youth ministry relies heavily on the time (from 5 – 7 hours a week) and talent of adults within the parish community who desire to share their faith, as well as to provide an example of one who lives the faith. The team also assists the Youth Minister in various ways, such as: leading small groups, providing a talk/testimony, keeping the order, etc.
Introducing the Teen Advisory Board!
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) exists to assist the Youth Minister in an advisory and hands-on role. Further, TAB consists of upperclassmen that exhibit strong leadership qualities and possess a high maturity level (spiritual and otherwise) which are necessary in fulfilling these roles. While TAB exists to assist the Youth Minister, the board also exists to serve their peers in expressing any concerns, wants, or needs in youth ministry to the Youth Minister.
The Teen Advisory Board will meet monthly with the CORE team and youth minister as necessary. Tab members will serve one year teams and can be ‘re-elected’ as necessary.
Steubenville Atlanta is July 11- 13 - Applications will be up shortly
