St. Francis by the Sea Immigration Services is the largest provider of immigration services in the Hilton Head area, supporting about 500 applicants annually. Its mission is to provide high-quality and low-cost services to clients with limited income. Services include applications for permanent residency, citizenship, employment authorization renewals, and petitions for family members to immigrate. Consultations, to determine eligibility, are free of charge.

There is a need for volunteers to assist with copying and mail preparation during periods of high volume. Volunteers with computer software and file management expertise are also needed.
