Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Staff at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church! WOSF - First Saturday Devotional
The Women of St. Francis will be sponsoring First Saturday Devotionals to Our Blessed Mother after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. They will be praying the Fatima Prayers as well as reciting the Rosary. We will be offering these prayers for religious liberty in our country and around the world and for the personal intentions of the participants. The rosary at 8 a.m. on First Saturdays will be deferred to be included in this devotion. Sharing Thy Bounty
This month our receiving agency will be Sandelwood Community Food Pantry. Their needs are: cooking oil (vegetable or canola), soups with flip tops, Chef Boyardee Spaghetti O’s or raviolis in the cans with flip tops, cereal (child friendly) and toilet paper. Any donation is greatly appreciated!

Also, they make Chaplets for the Confirmandi each year. Additionally, they have taught some of the St. Francis Catholic School students how to make simple cord and plastic bead rosaries. Rosary Makers meet in the Sacristy behind the Main Altar in Church on the 1st and 3rd Thursday afternoons from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Family Rally for Life, Hilton Head, SC - (along Highway 278 in front of the St. Francis Thrift Shop, 6 Southwood Park Drive, HHI). This is a friendly, peaceful, prayerful, outdoor gathering in support of the sanctity of life. There's plenty of parking and children are welcome, so please join us! If possible, wear something red for increased visibility, and bring your own chair is you prefer to sit. If you have non-political, clear, easy-to-read signs that will help the public quickly identify our cause as they drive or walk by, feel free to bring them. (Note: while graphic photos of aborted babies do attract attention and are very effective, this is not an appropriate place for them since young children will be present.) Questions?
