The Rosary Makers are comprised of a small group of ladies affiliated with the Women of St. Francis. They make Rosaries for the First Communicants and the RCIA Candidates each year. Also, they make Chaplets for the Confirmandi each year. Additionally, they have taught some of the St. Francis Catholic School students how to make simple cord and plastic bead rosaries. Rosary Makers meet in the Sacristy behind the Main Altar in Church on the 1st and 3rd Thursday afternoons from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The Christmas Party will take place in the Family Center. WOSF General Meeting
The next WOSF General Meeting will be on Monday, December 14 at 1 pm in the Family Center. This will be our Christmas gathering, complete with a “Cookie Exchange 2020 Style”, in which members are asked to bring a copy of their favorite Christmas cookie recipe. We will scan and e-mail all of the recipes to the membership in time for Christmas baking. We will be reviewing the history of the Women of St. Francis through the scrapbooks, with time to remember all that we have accomplished. We will also be announcing the Catholic Woman of the Year. At the meeting, we will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods and cash/checks to benefit Second Helpings (the local food rescue and distribution network, supplying 55 nonprofit food pantries and soup kitchens in Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties) and the Sandalwood Community Food Pantry. | 15 Confirmation 2 Classes
