Congratulations Dave DeReamer and Joan DiMaria!
As a parishioner for 20 years, Dave DeReamer has answered the call whenever his time and talent has been needed. Dave has been a volunteer at the St. Francis Thrift Shop and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He has served on the facilities committee, stewardship committee and as a volunteer at the St. Francis Catholic School. He helped initiate and worked with the school's Breakfast with Santa, as well as the annual volleyball tournaments. He has been instrumental in supporting the Sharing Thy Bounty, Parish Picnic, and improving campus signage.
Joan DiMaria as been a St. Francis member for over 20 years and has contributed to parish and community life throughout that time. Joan has worked tirelessly to assure the completion of the last two Parish Directories. As a member of the Women of St. Francis, where she served as both President and Treasurer, she initiated a program where by members go to The Life Care Center to entertain residents with birthday parties and games. Joan began a tradition that continues today along with Joan's weekly visits to the center. Joan spent 6 years on Parish Council where she was instrumental in establishing this recognition award.
Joan and Dave were recognized in the Church at the conclusion of the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, November 4th. The Mass was followed by a reception in the Family Center in conjunction with the ministry fair where parish members had the opportunity to congratulate them on their achievements.
